Procurement Associate at Fresh Life

Salary: 40,000 gross

About the Role: As a Procurement Associate, you will provide administrative support to the procurement team and address all procurement needs within the respective teams. You will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure efficient procurement processes and contribute to the organization's overall objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Execute daily, weekly, and monthly procurement plans.
2. Review and approve purchase requests in a timely manner.
3. Convert approved purchase requests into purchase orders (POs).
4. Follow up on PO approvals and notify vendors.
5. Schedule and follow up on payments, ensuring timely processing.
6. Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with policies.
7. Source quotations from suppliers and negotiate favorable prices.
8. Foster and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
9. Collaborate with internal teams for quality standards checks.
10. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.

Qualifications:

1. A Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
2. 2-4 years of vendor sourcing, contract management and technical procurement in a Manufacturing setup. 
3. Solid knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and systems.
4. Ability to analyze problems and strategize for solutions.
5. Strong negotiation and contract administration skills.
6. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
