Product Manager, Next Billion Users Google at Google

About the job

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Experience creating product roadmaps from conception to launch, driving product direction, defining go-to-market strategy, and leading design discussions
• Experience partnering with cross-functional areas, in addition to Product Management, such as Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Marketing, Business Development Managers, Developer Advocates, and Customer support

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience building early stage products
• Experience building for users in Africa
• Experience identifying new product opportunities

Responsibilities

• Come up with novel product solutions for the Next Billion Users, specifically focusing on Sub-Saharan Africa. Do user research, build and iterate on product solutions in close contact with users, and growing products to scale.
• Brainstorm product ideas with a cross-functional team.
• Pitch product ideas to the Next Billion Users (NBU) board.
• Build and test early prototypes.
• Grow early initiatives to scale.
