Job Introduction
BBC Studios’ Natural History Unit (NHU) is the leading producer of wildlife programming, creating award-winning content with a world class reputation.
Our output ranges from ambitious landmarks (Green Planet, Dynasties, and the forthcoming Frozen Planet II) to children’s programming (Deadly Dinosaurs and Andy’s Adventures), as well as ground-breaking adventure, formatted, presenter lead, feature docs and event programming such as Endangered for Discovery, The Year The Earth Changed for Apple TV+ and the BAFTA winning Springwatch for the BBC.
We are looking for a Production Co-ordinator to work within the Natural History Unit Development team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain budgeting and scheduling skills that are key for a production management career path.
Role Responsibility
The successful applicant will play a key part of the NHU Development team, working closely with the Production Managers and the editorial team to help feed into budgets across a number of different genres and clients. You will be instrumental in supporting a large production team, helping with the day to day management of the team and resources.
