Professional Driver at Beth International Ltd

We are seeking to recruit a mature, disciplined, and trustworthy Driver to join a private household / executive environment. The successful candidate must demonstrate professionalism, discretion, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility.

This position is best suited for an individual who values long-term employment, stability, and service excellence.

Accommodation: Candidate must be willing to reside on the property if required.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving & Transport Duties
  • Safely transport the principal / family members to appointments, meetings, errands, airport transfers, church, social engagements, and other destinations.
  • Ensure punctuality and readiness at all times.
  • Maintain a calm, courteous, and professional demeanor while driving.
  • Drive defensively and obey all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Plan routes efficiently to avoid delays.
• Vehicle Care & Maintenance
  • Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, serviced, and roadworthy at all times.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks (oil, tyres, lights, battery, cleanliness).
  • Report repairs or faults immediately.
  • Ensure insurance, inspection, and licensing documents remain current.
• Household / Support Duties
  • Assist with errands, deliveries, and light support tasks as required.
  • Be available for occasional schedule changes depending on family needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all household matters.

Flexibility

• Must be willing to work Sundays or outside normal hours when required, depending on the employer’s schedule.
• Maintain a cooperative attitude with changing schedules.

Minimum Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 5 years proven driving experience
• VIP / executive / private family driving experience is highly preferred

Age & Maturity

Preferably 35 years and above

Stability

Preference may be given to candidates with families / established responsibilities, as this often reflects maturity and long-term stability.

Licensing

Valid Kenyan driving licence with a clean or acceptable driving record.

Language

Must be able to communicate effectively in:

• English
• Kiswahili
