Programme Management Consultant at UN-Habitat

Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent will work under the overall supervision of the Chief, Urban Practices Branch. The main objective of this consultancy;

• Translation of the 2022 catalogue of services to the French version.
• Maintain dedicated database for the communities of practice.
• Provide appropriate revisions for documents including design and layout.
• Organize internal and external meetings, including Expert Group Meetings and webinars, coordinate and review inputs, and draft reports.

Qualifications/special skills

• Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social sciences, urban planning or development is required.
• Experience: Two years work experience in communications, research work or related field is required. Previous experience working with the United Nations will be an added advantage.
• Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this consultancy, excellent writing communication skills of English and French are required.
