Public Relations Officer at Mama Ngina University College (MNUC)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) minimum mean grade of C+ or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Media Studies, Communication, Marketing, International Relations or any other related field;
• Master’s degree in Public Relations, Media Studies, Communication, Marketing, International Relations or any other related field;
• A minimum of three(3) years of public relations / communication experience with at least 1 year in an institution of higher learning;
• Previous experience with protocol procedures in public and private sector;
• Demonstrate knowledge in organizing and planning marketing activities in institutions of higher learning or equivalent;
• Demonstrate knowledge in coordinating and executing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities;
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in implementing GOK Performance Contracting;
• Demonstrate competencies in developing strategic plans, drafting policies, work plans and departmental procedures and managing complaints in an organization;
• Demonstrate competencies in managing , growing social media platforms and handling media personalities;
• Proficiency in digital media and graphic design tools is an added advantage;
• Must have knowledge , skills and certification on ISO 9001:2015 standards;
• Must meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
