QA Automation Engineer at CarePay Ltd

Main purpose of the job

As a QA engineer you are part of a multidisciplinary team working on core features of the platform, which includes backend engineers, frontend engineers, cloud engineers, business analysts, designers, and business owners. As a team, you own your backlog and take pride in achieving results. Next to your technical contribution, you’re working on the product vision itself and share our vision of leveraging technology to improve healthcare around the world.

Your main task is designing automated tests to check the functionality of web applications, write scripts, install testing protocols, and provide effective test automation solutions. You should have solid coding skills for designing and implementing various automated solutions. Daily tasks include checking if the software meets architectural requirements, develop and automate tests for software validation, ensures the high quality of the system, and interacting with our frontend/backend developers and other QA engineers.

Minimal qualifications

1. Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
2. Knowledge of all phases of QA testing: System (functional and non-functional), Integration, Regression, Smoke, Performance, Data verification and Acceptance testing
3. Experience with Backend (APIs, Databases) and UI testing

Preferred qualifications

1. Angular, React, VueJS or equivalent JavaScript framework
2. Experience setting up CI/CD tools and pipelines
3. Experience with Cypress or other automated testing tools (Detox, Cypress, Appium, Robotium, Selenium, Cucumber)
4. Experience with mobile technology and development
