Job Summary

• Run operations of the effluent treatment and Reverse Osmosis plants at ETP and VELO factory to meet requirements of water quality and recycling standards.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Strict adherence to all safety requirements in the ETP, Crawlway & Velo RO plant
• Ensure to always follow standard operating procedures while on duty.
• Monitor all parameters pertaining to wastewater and treated water (pH, TDS, turbidity, BOD and COD) and effluent disposal to conform to regulatory standards.
• Ensure proper dosing schedules for the ETP & RO Plants conform to relevant standards
•  Make timely, accurate and cost-effective decisions pertaining to all matters of Water treatment
•  Make inventory of all treatment chemicals, consumables and oversee chemicals storage.
•  Initiates procurement of effluent and RO treatment chemicals.
• Promptly informs management on any deviations from the standards.
• Any other duties that may be assigned by management from time to time.
• Ensure water recycling targets are met daily and recycling water collection points are well maintained
• Monitor the distribution and storage tanks of recycled water across the site
• Maintain standards in ETP & Velo RO plant through RTT DMS (CIL, DH & CLs) & 5S
• Monitor and document operating parameters, chemical consumption through the daily reports
• Maintain optimum equipment conditions through Planned Maintenance program for key equipment

Minimum, Qualifications and Skills
Key Performance Indicators

• Ensure minimum harm to people, environment, assets and reputation (PEAR).
• 100% compliance of effluent and treated water quality to relevant standards.
• 100% compliance to ETP & RO equipment maintenance.
• 100% ETP recycled water sampling and record keeping
•  Accurate Effluent and recycling data.

Desired Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• At least two (2) years working experience in a similar role.
•  Knowledge of NEMA requirements in effluent discharge.
•  Computer literate
