Quality Control Officer at Gap Recruitment Services Limited

Job Summary:
The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all food products meet the required safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This includes conducting inspections, overseeing production processes, and performing regular tests to maintain compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and quality checks throughout the production process to ensure adherence to food safety regulations and company standards.
• Monitor and test raw materials, finished products, and production environments to ensure quality consistency.
• Document results of quality tests and inspections, and report any deviations from standards to management.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure proper procedures are followed, and assist in resolving any quality-related issues.
• Oversee the proper storage and handling of materials to maintain product integrity.
• Ensure that all products are in compliance with food safety laws and regulations (e.g., FDA, HACCP, GMP).
• Review and update quality control procedures to ensure ongoing compliance and improvements.
• Investigate product complaints and assist with corrective actions when necessary.
• Train and guide production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports on quality control activities.
• Ensure that proper documentation and certifications are in place for audits and inspections.

Qualifications:

• Certification in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
• MUST have proven experience in a quality control role, preferably in the food industry.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control standards, and HACCP principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in products.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to take corrective action when required.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to use various testing and measuring equipment, and knowledge of laboratory.
