Radio Presenter at Family Media

Job Description

Family Media is looking for a passionate, experienced and articulate Radio Presenter who will be responsible for supporting the production and smooth execution of radio programs while also engaging audiences as an on-air personality.

Duties and responsibilities:

On-Air Presentation & Content Delivery

• Generate creative ideas through thorough and elaborate research for brainstorming sessions.

• Host live and pre-recorded radio shows professionally and engagingly.

Audience Engagement & Interaction

• Engage listeners through call-ins, social media, and live interactions.

Content Research & Preparation

• Research trending topics and entertainment updates for relevant discussions.

Technical & Production Coordination

• Operate studio equipment and collaborate with other broadcast assistants and sound engineer for seamless production.

Equipment Checks and Maintenance

• Check if the broadcast equipment is in good condition.

Brand Representation & Marketing

• Represent the station at promotional events, sponsorships, and public engagements.

Compliance & Ethical Broadcasting

• Ensure content complies with regulatory authorities and station policies.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical broadcasting standards.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Provide reports on listener feedback, engagement, and show performance.

Qualifications and skills.

• Degree/ Diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a presenter in a media production company or setup
• Knowledge of Christian Contemporary Music
• Excellent verbal communication and storytelling skills.
• Strong knowledge of radio production and broadcasting techniques.
• Ability to engage and entertain a diverse audience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to address technical issues during live broadcasts in a fast-paced environment
