DESCRIPTION:

Mauritian based development fund seeks seasoned property developer to head up Nairobi based, pan-African focused team.
With a good track record in East Africa, a strong balance sheet and a well networked senior leadership team, this investment & development company is set for success. With an eye on impact investment, they are essentially looking to build everything other than hotels and shopping centres. Their current team of 2 DM's and a PA needs to grow both for delivery capacity and to increase pipeline.

Experience and Qualification:

• As such they are looking to appoint a commercially minded development professional who is able to source, package and execute complex building projects, whilst leading and developing a team.
• This role would suit someone who has some high-rise project experience and proven managerial capabilities. Working with a strong business developer, your role will focus on deal making by structuring commercially productive development contracts and ensuring that the many obstacles which a developer faces in the African continent are either completely mitigated or quickly resolved. 
• Suited to someone with at least 10 years' experience in real estate development, a solid track record of past success/achievements and must be happy to travel regularly.
