Sales Executive at Reda Chemicals

Responsibilities

• Regularly meet civil engineering contractors, applicators, asset owners, municipality engineers, corporate & government companies, and various industries operation & maintenance teams to introduce the company's products and services to customers.
• Discuss and understand the customer's needs and requirements.
• Generate sales enquiries/leads from processing plants, industries, STP related to concrete repairs, refurbishment, protections against H2S biogenic corrosion, heat, abrasion, erosion, and impact etc.
• Follow up after initial contact, provide samples, get approved the products, negotiate the price, secure the orders, complete the sales cycle.
• Develop and maintain relations with customers.
• Able to project sales forecasts based on the projects
• Build the database of concrete repairs, refurbishment, protection applicators, contractors, clients, industries etc.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers and other stakeholders to provide the sales support.
• Understand the local market and customer requirements, collect customer feedback and identify & report the area of improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Science or any equivalent
• 5+ years of previous working experience in selling Construction Chemicals, Cement & Concrete products in the African market
• A good network of contacts in the construction and concrete industry with a deep understanding of the industry and its techno-commercial aspects
