    Reliability Monitoring Engineer

    Responsibilities;
    They are responsible for but not limited to:

    • Establish the Reliability Program manual and ensure it is current to meet Regulatory and ALS Requirements.
    • Perform statistical analysis of aircraft system failures, components, power plants and structures to improve management of airworthiness and maintenance cost.
    • Establish the weekly repetitive defects and ECTM alerts.
    • Prepare monthly reliability reports, distribute same and schedule for the monthly reliability review meetings.
    • Initiate preliminary investigations and formulate recommendations for corrective and preventive actions for conditions that are above alert.
    • Continuously monitor corrective actions to determine their effectiveness.
    • Report safety risks that are evident during reliability analysis
    • Liaise with manufacturers and vendors on reliability issues.

    Minimum Candidate requirements for a RME;

    • Be a Kenyan Citizen.
    • Degree from a recognized university in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronics or equivalent field,
    • In-depth knowledge and experience in the aviation industry,
    • Three (3) years working experience in an engineering office,
    • Knowledge of reliability monitoring principles,
    • Knowledge of Aircraft Systems,
    • Detailed knowledge of KCAA/EASA/FAA regulations and ALS engineering procedures
    • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Analytical software
    • Fluent in the English language.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
