Responsibilities

Research

• Collect data on users, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
• Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences
• Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation
• Utilize statistical software to manage and organize information monitoring the progress of research projects

Grants management

• Determines proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs, studying requests for proposals (RFPs), and attending strategy meetings.
• Prepares and edits grant proposals, contracts, or other Tech-related documentation, ensuring compliance with necessary standards.
• Coordinates requirements with contributors and facilitates steps and divisions of labor needed to meet the submission deadline and funding requirements.
• Assists department and collaborators with grant renewal and extension editing and writing.
• Assists department with external publication document editing and writing.
• Provides major reorganization/ reconstruction of documents and extensive rewriting to enhance logical presentation, coherence, and clarity.
• Assists projects with writing executive summaries, white papers, high-level summaries, infographics, and other tools to show the projects impact in addressing costs.

Who you are

• 3+ years’ experience in Proven Market Research and Grants writing experience or related field
• Possess search engines, web analytics, and business research tools acumen
• Strong communication and presentation skills & Strong analytical and critical thinking
• Working knowledge with CRM programs
• Advise clients or senior management on the best ways to use provided data
• BS degree in Statistics, Marketing or related field.
