    Sales Executive

    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    • Developing and implementing sales strategies: The Sales Executive will be responsible for creating and executing plans to increase revenue and market share for the health facility. This may include identifying target markets, setting sales goals, and determining the most effective strategies for reaching potential clients.
    • Building and maintaining relationships: The Sales Executive will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry. This includes physicians, hospital administrators, and insurance providers.
    • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities: The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through;
      • Presenting, promoting and selling products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective corporate clients.
      • Promoting wellness and mobile clinic services
      • Promoting provider engagement to support coverage and grow the patient referral network for lab, pharmacy and diagnostic services.
      • Promoting pre-employment and life-insurance testing services
      • Promoting utilization of Urgent Care and Dispatch services and Chronic Disease Management Services by insurance partners
    • Collaborating with marketing and PR teams: The Sales Executive will work closely with the facility's marketing and public relations teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns that increase awareness of the facility's services.
    • Negotiating contracts and pricing: The Sales Executive will be responsible for negotiating contracts and pricing with potential clients. This may involve working with top management and legal teams to review contracts and ensuring that the facility's interests are protected.
    • Tracking and reporting on sales performance: The Sales Executive will need to track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management. This may include creating reports and presentations that show progress against sales targets, identifying areas of weakness, and recommending changes to sales strategies.
    • Meeting or exceeding established sales targets: The Sales Executive will be responsible for meeting or exceeding established sales targets. This may involve working closely with the sales team to ensure that everyone is focused on achieving the same goals and that everyone is held accountable for their performance.
    • Maintaining knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities: The Sales Executive will need to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities in order to inform sales strategies. This may involve attending industry conferences, reading trade publications, and conducting market research.
    • Representing the facility at trade shows and industry events: The Sales Executive will represent the facility at trade shows and industry events, promoting the facility's services and building relationships with potential clients.
    • Continuously improving sales processes and procedures: The Sales Executive will be responsible for continuously improving sales processes and procedures to increase effectiveness and efficiency. This may include identifying areas of inefficiency, implementing new technologies, or streamlining sales processes.

    Requirements

    • Proven record of great salesmanship in health insurance
    • Previous work experience with corporates and/or insurance companies (preferably in healthcare)
    • Previous relationship management role is an added advantage
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    •  Knowledge of the health industry
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Diploma/Degree in sales, marketing, business or a related field
