    Security, Facilities and EHS Manager

    Job Purpose

    As a Security, Facilities, and EHS Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of organization security and physical risk prevention (for example fire safety), ensuring business activities are carried out in a secure environment. You will also act as a partner to business management formulating EHS plans, and you will also consult, design, develop, implement and oversee the organization's environmental health and safety programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities and to ensure that all facilities are in compliance with regulations

    Essential Job Responsibilities

    • Leading and coordinating outsourced security team, investigations, background checks, product security, anti-parallel trade operations and security of field staff.
    • Protection of staff, company property and assets by organizing effective and efficient physical security.
    • Maintain close liaison and work closely with, the security service provider to provide effective and cost-efficient security services.
    • Develop effective communication with and develop a working relationship with external organizations such as the Intelligence Agencies, Law Enforcement Departments and the Police.
    • Responsible for conducting risk analysis for the sites, particularly with respect to level of crime, terrorism, workplace violence, threats from natural and manmade disasters, writing review reports, reviewing findings, and making cost effective recommendations to the management.
    • Maintains knowledge of current security issues and security technology and update management on risk and threat that could impact company business.
    • Coordinating outsourced cleaning and canteen services
    • Managing processing of guests
    • Managing postal, courier services and office provisions,
    • Fleet management, ensure adequate maintenance of GSK vehicles
    • Ensure maintenance of GSK building and facilities
    • Incident reporting, training, implementation of 12 Life Saving Rules, OSHA compliance, driver safety program
    • Support the GMs and Leadership team to develop and deploy programs to effectively manage environment, health, and safety risks of the GSK Pharma commercial operations.
    • Manage EHS systems (control framework) and apply mechanisms to periodically review its effectiveness aimed at continual improvement
    • Overall responsibility for EHS Functions across the commercial operations, with specific responsibility (Duty Holder) for – occupational hygiene, emergency management, environmental sustainability, Health & Wellness etc.
    • Lead the implementation of EHS projects, in relation to hazard identification and risk management and provide technical EHS support.

    Basic Qualifications

    • First Degree or Higher National Diploma preferably in Security Studies, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Engineering or other related areas.
    • Hold relevant professional qualifications in any of the above areas
    • Sound knowledge of local EHS regulatory requirements.
    • Minimum of 3-5years of active Security and EHS management
    • Facility management experience will be an added advantage.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with working closely with senior stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
    • Sound knowledge of MS office tools for performance reporting and analysis.
    • Sound Knowledge of accident investigation and root cause analysis.
