Security Foreman at Victory Farms

We are seeking a disciplined and highly motivated Security Foreman to oversee security operations at our Roo Bay Farm, including the new SUVAC Fish Processing Factory. The role is responsible for ensuring the safety of staff, safeguarding company assets and operations, and maintaining a secure working environment through effective access control, surveillance, patrols, incident response, and compliance with established security and safety procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities

Access Control & Security Operations

• Manage entry and exit of staff, visitors, contractors, and vehicles while ensuring compliance with security procedures through patrols, monitoring, and verification processes.

Loss Prevention & Asset Protection

• Safeguard company assets, inventory, vehicles, and property by preventing theft, monitoring movement of goods, and reporting suspicious activities or incidents.

Surveillance & Monitoring

• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and security equipment to detect, respond to, and escalate potential security threats or emergencies.

Incident Response & Emergency Support

• Respond effectively to emergencies including fire, accidents, medical incidents, and security breaches while supporting evacuation and coordination with emergency services.

Reporting & Record Keeping

• Maintain accurate security records, incident reports, visitor logs, and shift handover notes while communicating security concerns promptly to management.

Professional Conduct & Discipline

• Uphold high standards of integrity, discipline, professionalism, and compliance with company security procedures and supervisor instructions.

Coordination & Operational Support

• Work closely with warehouse teams, transport staff, residence occupants, and external agencies to maintain safety, order, and smooth daily operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a security role.
• KCSE Certificate required.
• Basic knowledge of security operations and strong observation skills.
• Good communication, incident reporting, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, alertness, and professionalism.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergencies.
