    Senior Analytics Executive

    ABOUT YOU

    We are looking for a Senior Analytics Executive. You will report to the Data Processing Manager. You are a specialized executive tasked with analysing data using complex regression and predictive modelling techniques, creating analysis reports that capture insights from data, and coordinating with other departments/clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and of high quality.

    You will be an active team member, contributing to internal knowledge sharing, best practice development and team engagement. While the role will be based in Nairobi, Kenya, it is a diverse role and will require frequent interaction and support of our team and clients in global locations. This is an excellent opportunity to use your existing data analysis and teamwork skills while growing your capabilities within a rapidly expanding company.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
    • Expertise with at least one data analysis software such as R, Stata or SAS.
    • Expertise with statistical methods that includes descriptive and inferential statistics.
    • Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, R Shiny Dashboard or Tableau.
    • Communicating clearly via written and spoken English.

    Skills and Key Competencies

    • Good report writing and presentation skills.
    • High accuracy and attention to detail factoring every piece that might alter the validity of data.
    • Ability to provide gainful insights and pragmatic solutions to Dalberg Research clients with a bias towards action and resolving issues quickly.
    • Excellent creative and innovative problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to accomplish shared goals and objectives on time.
    • Be self-motivated and proactive in executing the assigned roles.
    • Unquestionable integrity, confidentiality and respect.
