Job Description

• The Senior Copywriter is responsible for leading the development and execution of creative content strategies across multiple brands and campaigns. The role combines creative leadership, strategic thinking, content creation, team development, and performance analysis to ensure copy delivers measurable results and remains consistent with each client's brand identity.
• The Senior Copywriter will lead the creative copy team in developing high-quality, award-winning content and copy for client campaigns. The role is responsible for driving creative ideation, maintaining strong brand consistency, mentoring junior copy and community management teams, and ensuring all deliverables meet agreed timelines, quality standards, client objectives, and performance targets. The role will work closely with Strategy, Creative, Client-Facing teams, and other internal stakeholders to deliver impactful content across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative and content strategies for campaigns and client projects.
• Lead copy and content brainstorming sessions to generate strong creative ideas.
• Create engaging, platform-specific copy and content aligned with brand objectives and tone of voice.
• Lead and motivate copywriters, community managers, and junior creative team members.
• Review and oversee copy and content produced by the team to ensure quality and brand consistency.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Creative Directors, Client-Facing teams, and other stakeholders on campaign development and execution.
• Ensure all content and copy deliverables are submitted accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Respond to and action creative briefs within the agreed timelines.
• Monitor social media and content performance and recommend improvements based on analytics.
• Prepare and interpret content and social media performance reports.
• Drive continuous improvement in content quality, processes, and creative output.
• Maintain 100% identifiable and consistent brand voice across client communications.
• Support pitch development and contribute to winning creative concepts.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Identify and facilitate training and development opportunities to reskill and upskill the creative copy team.
• Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, platforms, and best practices in copywriting and digital content.
• Facilitate creative activities and initiatives that encourage innovation and collaboration within the team.
• Lead by example through strong work ethic, punctuality, accountability, and consistent follow-through.
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

Education

• Diploma in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field; Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field

Experience

• Relevant copy, content, or communications experience with samples.
