    Senior Manager-Central Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

    Key Responsibilities

    • Freight & Logistics Management
    • Negotiate competitive freight rates (air, ocean, parcel, domestic).
    • Manage carrier contracts to ensure cost efficiency and service reliability.
    • Monitor freight markets and resolve shipment delays proactively.
    • Market Intelligence & Forecasting
    • Track global commodity markets (edible oils, raw materials, plastics), including price trends and risk factors.
    • Prepare dashboards and provide short- and long-term market forecasts for management.
    • Strategic Procurement
    • Identify optimal buying windows and recommend cost-effective purchasing strategies.
    • Explore bulk/forward contracts and global sourcing options to reduce cost and ensure supply continuity.
    • Supplier & Risk Management
    • Develop and manage international supplier networks.
    • Negotiate commercial terms and consolidate volumes for better leverage.
    • Assess supply chain risks and implement mitigation or hedging strategies while ensuring policy compliance.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Agriculture, Food Technology, or related field.
    • Strong experience in the inbound and outbound logistics which includes LCL, FCL, ocean, air, parcel.
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in freight management, procurement, trading, commodity analysis, or sourcing.
