Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Data Analytics at Cellulant Corporation

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Your role is to support the technology, product, and business teams with real-time actionable insights on service performance across our products.
• You will perform research, design, testing, data analysis, visualization for dashboards and alerts, and work with your team to automate actions where possible.
• You will work with the Data Engineering team to develop and plug into real-time/ near real-time data sources needed by the observability team for service performance measurement.
• You will work with the team to develop additional capabilities on our observability platforms by incorporating additional data types like clickstream data and frontend user interactions.
• You will work with various (data engineering, cloud, and database, etc) teams to understand the available data collection and storage methods, processes and gain insights into their data for integration and quality measurements.
• You will work with key stakeholders to gather requirements and articulate the requirements with various stakeholders including product and software development teams.
• You will be responsible for championing machine learning capabilities in the observability data to enhance the signal and reduce noise.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Must have experience:

• Hands-on experience in real-time/ near real-time data analytics and visualization.
• Experience in Data visualization and storytelling.
• Experience in programming/ Scripting.
• Knowledge of python and MySQL, bash, Terraform, Ansible, gitlab, and other scripting/ automation tools.
• Multi-tasking and effective oral and communication skills

Experience that will count in your favor: 

• Good understanding of AWS services (Glue and Athena, Amazon Cloudwatch, QuickSight), Kubernetes (EKS), ElasticSearch/ OpenSearch , Newrelic or similar observability tools, Zabbix, Grafana, PagerDuty.
• Proven use of AI (ML/ DL) for data management/ Analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study, including computer science, engineering, information technology, Statistics, or related study.

Skills:

• Programming and Scripting Skills - PHP, Python, Bash, Perl, Java.
