    Senior Technologist Grade DEF Department of Biology

    AD/5/24/23

    • Applicants must be holders of either B.Sc or Higher Diploma in Biology or Biomedical or Pharmaceutical Technology or Biotechnology or equivalent qualification from a recognized learning institution. They must have three (3) years’ experience as Technologist grade ABC.
    • Practical knowledge in any of the following: Animal Physiology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Histology and Microscopy, Taxonomy, Entomology, Microbiology parasitology, Immunology or Biochemistry, Plant Physiology or Biochemistry, Hydrobiology, Biology of conservation, Biotechnology, Mycology or Entomology and computer literacy will be an added advantage.
    • The successful candidate is expected among other assignments to conduct student practical/demonstrations/research activities and be in charge of a laboratory section.
    • He/she will ensure laboratory equipment’s are in good working conditions and are calibrated as per schedule.
