Snr Director, Technical Operations, East and Central Africa Franchise at The Coca-Cola Company

What You will Do for Us

• Provide technical franchise leadership and execution support to the Operating Unit franchise units and bottling partners across all Technical Innovation & Supply Chain functional areas.
• Leadership on technical goals and objectives setting in Key areas (including performance and execution cups) at Africa Operating unit level such as QSE scores, continuity of supply, processes efficiency and performance, timely investments to expand capacity.
• Lead actions of bottling groups to optimize manufacturing cost and yields to support profitability requirements at each specific region or Franchise Operations
• Act as the execution arm for Technical Innovation & Supply Chain strategies at the Franchise Operations and individual market levels
• Strategic leadership and operational support for the Coca-Cola System at Africa Operating unit level to build capabilities and capacities of product/package, supply chain and production infrastructure, processes, people, and cost optimization solutions to drive growth.
• Lead, support and orchestrate as necessary the execution of productivity initiatives at the country and Franchise Operations levels.
• Contribute to developing Supply Chain contingency plans and BCPs at the country or market level, coordinate demand and supply at the Franchise Operations or market level in alignment with the Africa Operating unit Supply Chain team and the bottling partners.
• Support the local sourcing strategy at the different Franchise Operations.
• Support the execution of the Africa Operating unit Commercialization plans working directly with the bottling partners, Commercial Products Supply and other Africa Operating unit functions inside and outside the technical structure.
• Act as primary Africa Operating unit technical contact for the bottling partners in relation to troubleshooting, cross-functional corrective action plans and IMCR immediate actions.
• Is responsible to stir the Coca-Cola Company system towards creating and executing sustainable manufacturing and logistic operational plans to deliver competitive growth.
• Act as a catalyst for system networking with internal and external partners, identify and communicate insights, trends, risks relevant for the overall business and Technical Innovation & Supply Chain specific.
• Responsibilities may include multiple bottlers across geographies with single or multi-country operations.

Role Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8-10 years of experience in one or more functional areas within the Technical Innovation & Supply Chain scope: QSE, Scientific & Regulatory Affairs, Commercialization, Supply Chain, technical franchise leadership, Commercial Products Supply, Research & Development.
• Very good understanding of technical risk management, technical governance, project management framework and methodologies, commercialization processes.
• Strong abilities to connect and collaborate with partners across the system – bottling partners, Corporate, Franchise Operations leadership and Africa Operating leadership.
