Sports Journalist & Commentator (1 Position)

Internship/Volunteer Duration:
- Six (6) Months
Successful interns and volunteers who demonstrate commitment, professionalism, and outstanding performance will receive a Certificate of Internship/Volunteer Service and be given priority consideration for future employment opportunities at Girwa Radio as positions become available.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Cover local and regional sporting events.
- Conduct interviews with athletes, coaches, and sports officials.
- Prepare and present sports news bulletins.
- Provide live sports commentary where required.
- Produce sports features, interviews, and analysis programmes.
- Promote grassroots sports development.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Journalism, Sports Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Passion for sports and excellent communication skills.
