Store Officer at Premier Hospital

JOB PURPOSE

Assist in overall stock management of medical-surgical items in the hospital. Ensure proper storage, issue and distribution of all stocks and non-stock items utilizing manual and computerized systems.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure optimal stock availability in stores for user’s departments
2. To ensure proper and timely acquisition of stocks and medical supplies
3. Ensure replacement is done in real time and facilitate the acquisition
4. Issuance of stocks to various user departments
5. Custodian of surgical and general store
6. Ensure all invoices are timely compiled and data entry done before forwarding the documents to Finance.
7. Filing of all important documents in main store
8. Reconciliation of stock both physically and in the system daily
9. To carry out the above duties and any other duties as reasonably requested by the Procurement manage or any other executive manager

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS

1. Diploma in supply chain management

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

1. Minimum of 2-years’ experience

2. Able to communicate properly
3. Ability to work under less supervision
4. Ability to multitask
