Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Contract Review, Paralegal & Trainer at CloudFactory

We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Contract Review and Annotation to ensure high-quality data extraction, enhance annotation processes, and provide training to annotators. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, extensive experience in contract analysis, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and validate annotated contracts for accuracy, ensuring correct identification of key details such as document type, legal entities, parties, addresses, and other critical information.
• Refine and enhance annotation guidelines, workflows, and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and deliver training programs for annotators, ensuring consistency and compliance with quality standards.
• Identify and analyze trends, errors, and gaps in the annotation process, implementing corrective measures where needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance overall annotation accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in contract review, legal analysis, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of contract structures, legal terminology, and industry best practices.
• Proven expertise in quality control, process optimization, and workflow improvement.
• Experience in training and mentoring teams on legal document annotation and review
• Prior experience in data annotation is preferred.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
