Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable

Basic Salary: Kshs. 77,414 (Minimum) - 116,529 (maximum)

Other remunerations: Based on prevailing Government guidelines

Reporting to Principal Supply Chain Management Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducting market research, surveys and analysis;
• Carrying out procurement planning and inventory control;
• Drafting of procurement and disposal, programmes, plans, strategies and budgets;
• Preparing local purchase and Service orders (lpos and lsos);
• Participating in carrying out stock taking;
• Participating in market survey exercises;
• Assisting in preparing tender documents;
• Participating in tender evaluation process; and
• Drafting notices of award acceptance, rejection and debriefing letters.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Commerce (Supply Chain Management option), Procurement or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Proficiency in computer applications; and
• Fulfilled the provisions of Chapter six of the Constitution.
• An applicant with at least three (3) years working experience in similar position will have an added advantage
