Supply, Installation, and Maintenance of IP-Based CCTV Surveillance System at CARE

General scope

• Supply and installation of IP CCTV cameras as per the specifications provided.
• Supply and installation of a 42” CCTV screen (monitor) with an NVR storage capacity of 30 days.
• Placement of cameras as described in the specifications, including both indoor and outdoor locations.
• Provision of quality cabling and equipment to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Installation of clear signage indicating that CCTV surveillance is in operation.
• Testing and commissioning of the entire surveillance system upon project completion.

CCTV Features and Specifications

• The IP CCTV cameras should possess the following features and specifications:
• High-quality imaging with 8 MP resolution or higher.
• Efficient H.265+ compression technology.
• Clear imaging against strong backlight, enabled by 130 dB WDR technology.
• Built-in microphone for real-time audio surveillance.
• Water and dust resistance (IP67 rating) for outdoor use.
• Integration capabilities with existing systems or new setups.
• Facial recognition and motion detection for enhanced security.

Camera Placement

• One Dome Type Camera: Placed strategically to monitor the main entrance gate and the front car park area.
• One Dome Type Camera: Strategically placed to monitor the Main Office reception area.
• One Dome Type Camera: Strategically placed to monitor the “rear parking” Infront of the Annex Building.
• Four Bullet Type Cameras: Placed to monitor CARE Kenya perimeter fence.
• Two Bullet Type Cameras: Placed to monitor the Annex building back side

Cabling

• Quality cabling and equipment should be utilized to ensure reliable connectivity and optimal performance of the CCTV system.
• Testing and Commissioning
• Upon project completion, the vendor will be required to
• Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of the installed surveillance system to ensure its functionality and effectiveness.
• Conduct signal strength testing and optimize network bandwidth

Mandatory requirements to be met by prospective/ Interested vendor:

• Certificate of Registration/Incorporation
• KRA Compliance Certificate
• PIN Certificate
• Company profile with relevant experience
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in CCTV Installation
• Provide a list of 3 current clients/customers that you have engaged in business with (especially on a similar scale/sector) for the past three years.
