Sustainability Manager at RA International

RA is looking for a talented Sustainability Manager to be based in Kenya. Ideal candidate should have a Min. 5 years’ experience in a corporate sustainability role with managerial responsibilities with Degree in Development Studies, Global Studies, International Relations or other related interdisciplinary field of study.

The selected candidate must be able:

• Develop, drive and oversee the implementation of the Company’s sustainability strategy. Responsible for producing the Company’s annual Sustainability Report.
• Be the Company’s sustainability point of contact, including providing teams with research, write ups and strategic input and oversee and facilitate communication with and between internal as well as external parties.
• Responsible for sustainability record keeping and reporting. Create and coordinate information releases on the Company’s sustainability initiatives.
• Keep up to date on international sustainability trends and best practices and ensure the Company’s strategy is in line with these.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience with GRI sustainability reporting.
• Experience with carbon footprint calculations and reporting
• Experience with delivering change programs
• Excellent project management, program management, communication, and interpretation of complex data and trends
• Great engagement and communication skills, experience with influencing a range of stakeholders for success
