- We are seeking a qualified and flexible teacher to join a small, mission-based school in Kapsowar, Kenya. This role supports a group of seven missionary and expat students (ages 6–17) in a one-room schoolhouse. While the current need is primarily focused on supporting secondary-level students, responsibilities may shift over time depending on student needs.
- This position is ideal for a young education professional with a background in Western education who enjoys working closely with students, supporting their progress, and helping them stay accountable in an independent learning environment.
About the School
Our school operates as a hybrid model—a blend of homeschool, online learning, and co-op instruction. An American teacher currently works with younger students, while this role is presently focused on monitoring, supporting, and grading online coursework for older students. As the school grows or changes, the role may adapt to support different age groups as needed.
There is no lesson planning or administrative responsibility required.
Students are English-speaking and come from Western missionary and expat families.
