Technical System Analyst Intern at Softclans Technologies Limited

The Technical Systems Analyst Intern will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. This role focuses on the creation and maintenance of system-generated documentation, reporting templates, and technical manuals, while ensuring system integrity through migration support, QA, and client demonstrations. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and maintain system report templates using tools such as JasperServer.
• Author and maintain comprehensive system manuals and documentation.
• Produce high-quality Project documentation such as System Design Documents (SDD), business process maps, business-facing technical guides among other such documentation.
• Assist in data and system migration tasks, ensuring data mapping and logic consistency.
• Participate in client walkthroughs and \"train-the-trainer\" sessions to showcase system functionality to non-technical users.
• Perform functional testing and QA cycles. While deep coding is not the primary focus, the ability to read code and verify system outputs is essential.
• Rapidly acquire and apply sector-specific business knowledge to ensure system designs meet regulatory and industry standards.
• Any other task as assigned by the business.

Qualifications/skills/competencies required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology (BIT), Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant related field.
• Some experience or exposure working in a technical role such as a Technical Analyst, System Administrator, or similar role within a software development environment will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in SQL for data verification and report generation.
• Comfortable using Git for documentation and template management.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, SQL and PHP
• Familiarity with JasperServer or similar BI reporting engines is highly preferred.
• Ability to translate complex technical system behaviors into clear business-focused documentation.
• Have strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for attention to detail
• Have strong organizational and communication skills, including presentation skills.
