    Therapy/Brand Manager

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    As a Brand / Therapy Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, market share, and revenue growth. You will collaborate cross-functionally with various teams including product development, marketing, sales, and regulatory affairs to ensure successful product launches and sustained market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical marketing.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for assigned therapy; Over the Counter (OTC) / Diabetes / Pain Management / Cough & Cold / Anti-infectives etc., including product positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify key trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with market needs and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and in-store promotions.
    • Analyze sales data and market trends to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and identify areas for improvement.
    • Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and industry stakeholders and collect key insights during field work with sales team (Minimum 7 Days/Month across countries of operations (SSA).
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards for assigned portfolio responsibility.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences or related field; B. Pharma (Preferred) MBA (preferred)
    • At least 3 years of experience in brand management
    • Therapy exposure to any or more of Over the Counter (OTC) medications, Diabetes, Pain management, Cough & Cold & Anti-infectives
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced & dynamic environment and adapt to organizational priorities.
    • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry in Africa, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
    • Excellent communication skills and creativity
