Transport Coordinator at Sheer Logic

Responsibilities

• Liase with various transporters to allocate trucks for orders as per timelines
• Seek alternative trucks where orders are ceded, or previously allocated trucks are not available
• Follow up to ensure trucks are positioned at loading bay when required
• Review load plan daily and share where there are planning inaccuracies
• Weekly prepare truck allocation compliance report
• Monitor and support factory evacuation and 3P sites by coordinating shuttles
• Share daily shuttle status by 8 am
• Any other task that may be assigned by transport manager

Qualification:

• Certificate or Diploma qualification preferable in a logistics course
• Computer literate and can use Ms Office
• Solution driven with the ability to identify and implement process improvement ideas
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence across functionally
• Strong Drive for results / entrepreneurial Spirit / decision making
• Experience in a transport coordination role or similar
