Job Summary

• The Warehouse clerk will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The role also involves using inventory systems, providing accurate record-keeping, and contributing to the smooth running of the warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Updating finished goods stocks.
• Generating invoices and delivery notes.
• Tracking daily deliveries.
• Organize and maintain stock in designated storage areas.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements and company standards.
• Ensure proper documentation of outgoing shipments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
• Ensure safe and responsible operation of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Maintain accurate logs of warehouse activities, including shipping, and stock movements.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock levels, shipments, and inventory issues.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth flow of goods.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience of at least 2 years experience as a warehouse clerk.
• A minimum of Diploma in Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field from a reputable institution.
• Good computer skills, and ERP working knowledge are preferred. Basic stock-taking procedure and knowledge.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
