WordPress Plugins Developer at Indepth Research Services (IRES)

• We are seeking a talented and experienced web developer, with a bias in WordPress development, WordPress plugins development, and other custom WordPress integrations development to join our team. 
• As a WordPress developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing custom WordPress features including plugins to enhance the functionality and performance of our websites. 
• The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web development, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop custom WordPress features

Plugin Development:

• Design and develop custom WordPress plugins to meet specific requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and integrate plugins seamlessly.

Code Optimization and Maintenance:

• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
• Optimize projects for mobile

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough testing of projects to ensure they meet quality standards and are bug-free.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Stay Current with Web Development Trends:

• Stay updated on the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Implement new features and functionalities based on industry advancements.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with designers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members.

Documentation:

• Create comprehensive documentation for projects, including installation instructions and user guides.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a web developer with a portfolio of successful projects.
• Experience developing WordPress plugins is a must.
• Proven experience as a WordPress developer with a portfolio of successful projects.
• Proficient in HTML. CSS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and AJAX
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with software project management tool such as Trello or any other
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, jQuery).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
