    Medical Representative

    We are a leading pharmaceutical distributor in Kenya, seeking to hire two Medical Representatives to join our team. The primary responsibility of this critical role is to effectively promote and market our diverse portfolio of pharmaceutical products to healthcare providers across the Kenyan market, while also contributing to other key sales and marketing objectives.

    Duties

    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships: Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with key healthcare professionals (HCPs). 
    • Manage territory effectively: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of territory information within the company\\\'s systems and processes. 
    • Ensure effective communication: Communicate effectively with HCPs, colleagues, and other stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination. 
    • Act as a key liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between the Company and HCPs, facilitating communication and addressing their needs. 
    • Implement sales and marketing strategies: Execute effective sales and marketing strategies within the assigned territory to achieve sales targets and market share objectives. 
    • Ensure product availability: Collaborate with Company representatives to ensure the uninterrupted supply of company products to pharmacies and other distribution channels. 
    • Manage customer accounts: Ensure timely payment collection on all sales made and manage customer accounts effectively. 
    • Identify market opportunities: Analyze customer needs, identify market gaps, and develop effective solutions to address unmet needs and expand market share. 
    • Track and report performance: Monitor individual performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze market intelligence, and prepare regular reports for management. 
    • Maintain professional development: Participate in regular training programs to enhance medical and pharmaceutical knowledge, stay abreast of industry trends, and maintain professional competence.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
    • Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Medical Representative within the pharmaceutical industry. 
    • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong customer relationship and rapport-building abilities.
    • Proven ability to effectively promote pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals (HCPs).

    Sales Manager

    • We are a leading pharmaceutical distributor in Kenya, seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead and inspire our dedicated sales team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, managing sales budgets, analyzing sales data, and cultivating strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders within the Kenyan healthcare market. Further, this critical role will involve providing expert guidance and leadership to the sales team, ensuring they consistently achieve sales targets while maintaining the highest level of compliance with company policies and industry regulations.  

    Responsibilities

    • Drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction: Promote the company\'s pharmaceutical product portfolio to healthcare providers (HCPs) through effective presentations, relationship building, and customer engagement. 
    • Lead and execute strategic sales campaigns: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies, analyzing market trends and competitor activities to maximize market penetration and achieve sales targets. 
    • Foster a high-performing sales team: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of highly motivated sales representatives, ensuring their professional development and maximizing their individual and collective performance. 
    • Manage sales operations effectively: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare accurate sales forecasts, and ensure timely collections on all sales. 
    • Maintain industry expertise: Stay abreast of the latest industry developments, including new product launches, regulatory changes, and market trends, and disseminate this knowledge effectively to the sales team. 
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships: Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with key HCPs, hospitals, and other healthcare stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance and ethical sales practices: Adhere to all relevant pharmaceutical industry regulations, ethical guidelines, and company policies in all sales and marketing activities.
    • Contribute to organizational success: Actively participate in team meetings, collaborate with other departments, and contribute to the overall success of the pharmaceutical business.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field. 
    • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a managerial role. 
    • In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including product therapeutic areas, market dynamics, and competitive landscape. 
    • Proven leadership and management skills with a strong ability to motivate, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team. 
    • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective sales strategies. 
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. 
    • A strong customer-centric approach with a proven ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
