Job Description
Primary function is to provide professional life-changing treatment, support and care for both children and adults who have difficulties with communication, or with eating, drinking and swallowing
This includes but not limited to:
- Provide individual patient/client services and determine priority needs for speech therapy
- Participate in the development of the total plan of care
- Regularly re-evaluate patient progress and revise the plan of care as necessary
- Instruct family, caregivers and other personnel on phases of speech therapy
- Maintain communication regarding patient status with the physician and supervisory personnel.
- Complete, maintain and submit accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding patient evaluation and attainment of goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy or its equivalent
- At least three years of clinical working experience in both paediatric and adult population
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Description
Primary function is to develop an efficient and acceptable progressive rehabilitation program for rehabilitating clients and family for effective functional recovery through appropriate modality including but not limited to exercise therapy, electrotherapy, lifestyle management skills, cryotherapy, massage etc.
This includes but not limited to:
- Proficiently carry out the relevant treatment procedures to achieve maximum attainable physical function.
- Appropriately assess the client for the need for assistive devices, provide, and train the client in the use of the device to achieve physical functional independence.
- Carry out appropriate referral of clients to relevant service points for comprehensive management.
- Link and participate in the resettlement of rehabilitated RFH Healthcare clients with physical impairments & disabilities back to the community for adaptability, acceptability to ensure continuity of normal life.

Requirements:
- Minimum of Diploma in Physiotherapy.
- Ability to work as a pivotal member of a team comprising medical and non-medical colleagues.
- Able to maintain a compassionate and understanding approach even under pressure.
- Must be able to make rapid assessments of risk and start treatment, transfer or other remote intervention.
- Able to communicate their decisions and the reasoning behind them to the patient and other parties.

Primary function is to provide professional trauma and rehabilitation services.
This includes but not limited to:
- Manipulating and reducing fractures and dislocations;
- Fixing and removing casts and bandages; correcting congenital talipes equino-varus ( c.t.e.v);
- Participating in management of minor orthopaedic and trauma cases in emergencies and accidents
- Counselling patients/clients on issues regarding orthopaedic and trauma.
Requirements:
- Diploma in either Orthopaedic Plaster and Traction Technology; Orthopaedic Plaster Technology from a recognized institution.
- At least three (3) years working experience in a busy hospital set-up.

Job Description
Lead the process in development, implementation, and coordination of the occupational therapy Services at the RFH Healthcare by assessment, evaluation, and transition planning, therapeutic intervention, and exit planning for patients identified with or suspected of having disabilities that interfere with their ability to perform daily life activities or participate in necessary or desired occupations.
This includes but not limited to:
- Evaluating patients’ ability and formulating their occupational profile through a variety of functional, behavioural, and standardized assessments, skilled observation, checklists, histories, and interviews
- Developing occupationally based intervention plans based on patient’s needs and evaluation results
- Adhering to Government regulation, Kenya Occupational Therapy Association and Occupational Therapy Council of Kenya regulation and policies that relates to occupational therapy practice
- Complete, maintain and submit accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding patient evaluation and attainment of goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum diploma in Occupational therapy from accredited institution and recognized by Kenya Occupational Therapy Association (KOTA)
- Skills/hand on experience in Sensory integration or Hand therapy will be an added advantage
- At least three (3) years working experience with bias towards handling special needs children.
