Applicants to be holders of either a Master’s degree in any of the following fields: Planning, Architecture, Geo-Spatial Engineering, Surveying or any other relevant area from a recognized Learning Institution plus five (5) years’ experience at the level of Senior Technologist grade 8/9/10 (DEF OR Bachelor’s Degree any of the following fields: in Planning, Architectural Studies, Architecture degree OR a Higher Diploma in any of the following fields: Cartography, Mapping, GIS or any other relevant area from a recognized learning Institution plus seven (7) years’ experience at the level of Senior Technologist grade 8/9/10 (DEF).
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will among other assignments be expected to supervise technical nonteaching staff, participate in research activities in collaboration with academic staff, organize and supervise practical’s for both post and undergraduate students. The successful candidates will also among other assignments be expected to be in charge of the technologists in the CAD and GIS computer lab, conduct student practical sessions/demonstrations and research activities, carry out basic maintenance of laptops, computers, printers and digitizers in the CAD and GIS computer lab, organize and take students for field mapping exercises, ensure CAD and GIS computer lab equipment are in good working conditions, organize students management information systems. Carry out spatial data analysis and maintain the teaching and research spaces and CAD and GIS computer lab within the Department.

Applicants must be holders of either a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Planning, Architectural Studies, Architecture OR a Higher Diploma in Cartography, Mapping, GIS or any other equivalent qualifications from a recognized learning Institution. They should have three (3) years’ experience as Technologist grade ABC.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates will among other assignments be expected to be in charge of the CAD and GIS computer lab, conduct student practical sessions/demonstrations and research activities, carry out basic maintenance of laptops, computers, printers and digitizers in the CAD and GIS computer lab, organize and take students for field mapping exercises, ensure CAD and GIS computer lab equipment are in good working conditions, organize student’s management information systems. Carry out spatial data analysis and maintain the teaching and research spaces and CAD and GIS computer lab within the Department and perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
AC/2/72/24 – 3 POSTS (FOOD NUTRITION 7 DIETETICS, 1 POST; 1 POST; ROYAL SATIMA WATER 1 POST & FOOD PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY 1 POST)
Applicants shall have a minimum of either a Bachelor of Science Degree in any of the following areas Industrial and Applied Biology or a Higher Diploma in Industrial and Applied Biology/Chemistry or any other related field from a recognized institution plus at least three (3) years’ experience at the level of Senior Technologist Grade 8/9/10 (DEF).
Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate depending on deployment shall among other assignments be expected to manage laboratories, organize practical sessions of r both post and under graduate students, provide leadership in laboratory related matters, service and maintain equipment, oversee water processing, bottling, and distribution, develop production plans, monitor process, ensure adherence to quality standards.

Applicants shall have a minimum of either a Bachelor of Science Degree or Higher Diploma in any of the following areas Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or any other related field from a recognized institution plus at least three (3) years’ experience at the level of Senior Technologist Grade 8/9/10 (DEF).
Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate shall among other assignments be expected to Architectural, Mechanical and civil/structural drawings for teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students, procure all departmental materials and equipment, control departmental research library and perform other duties assigned by the Head of department. In addition, she/he must be willing to work beyond call of duty to meet customer’s expectations.
