Job objective

At elite plants, we propagate high quality rose plants for both our internal organization as well as external Clients. A happy customer is our main goal at Elite plants. As a Farm Manager Elite plants, you are overall responsible for the running of elite plants as a company.

This means overseeing day to day operations as well as maintaining customer relationships. Also, we expect you to develop strategic goals to further the growth and increase the profits of elite plants as a company within the AAA group. Your tasks and responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, accountable for orders as well as supply of good quality plants.
• Implement sustainable crop production practices to ensure optimal yield and quality
• Design strategy and set goals for growth; think about future challenges and actions we need to take to overcome them to further grow revenue or profits.
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses, make sure we stay within the budgets that have been agreed with the AAA group.
• Set policies and processes, ensure all processes are captured in policies and processes for all employees to access. Ensure we adjust procedures and policies are updated according to new developments.
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally. Employees are, our biggest asset, you with your team are responsible that staff is engaged, and satisfaction is maintained. 

Your profile

• Graduate in Horticulture, Floriculture or Agriculture
• 7-10 years’ experience in a propagation unit in the same capacity
• Excellent leadership skills and management skills
• Analytical mindset, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and team player facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office applications, particularly with Excel.

AAA Roses is the flower division within AAA Growers. At AAA Roses, we produce high quality rose stems for export. We supply a wide assortment of Roses all over the world everyday fresh. Quality is our key deliverable. A happy customer is our main goal at AAA Roses.

As a Farm Manager Chestnut Roses, you are overall responsible for the running of one of the rose production locations within the AAA Roses division. This means running the day-to-day operations. Also, we expect you to develop strategic goals to further the growth and increase the profits of Chestnut Roses as a location within the AAA Roses division. • Oversee daily operations; accountable for ensuring we make the daily production targets as agreed within the AAA Roses Division.
• Design strategy and set goals for growth; think about future challenges and actions we need to take to overcome them to further grow revenue or profits.
