    P1 Teacher

    Job Description

    • To provide holistic education that caters for human, intellectual, spiritual, social, physical and emotional development of the pupils.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Teaching all relevant and required lessons.
    • Preparing, conducting and marking examinations
    • Participating in the development and preparation of the institutional development plan.
    • In liaison with the immediate supervisor to market the institution.
    • In liaison with the other team members to prepare training schedules and professional documents for each term.
    • In liaison with the head teacher to listen and solve pupils’ grievances.

    Requirements

    • Knowledge of teaching methodologies and developing professional records
    • Knowledge of education system in Kenya
    • Creativity
    • Good interpersonal skills and human relations skills
    • Good communication skills

    Qualifications

    Communications Officer

    Job Description

    • The Communications Officer will serve as the lead communications officer in Nyeri Hill Farm and for the Green Hydrogen Project being established at the Archdiocese of Nyeri Hill Farm.
    • The role is responsible for developing and executing the Hill Farm’s/project's communication strategy, managing relations with stakeholders, customers, and donors, coordinating media engagement, and enhancing the visibility, credibility, and public understanding of the Hill Farm's and project's objectives and progress.

    Key Responsibilities

    Communication Strategy & Content Development

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy
    • Develop and disseminate communication materials
    • Develop key messaging and branding guidelines to ensure consistent, accurate representation of the project across all platforms

    Stakeholder, Customer, Donor & Media Engagement

    • Manage stakeholder, customer and donor engagement
    • Manage the Hill Farm and project's digital and social media presence
    • Organize and coordinate stakeholder and donor engagement events

    Documentation, Visibility & Internal Coordination

    • Document and profile ongoing Hill Farm project’s milestones and activities
    • Coordinate internal communication between the Hill Farm Management, project team, Finance Administrator and partners

    Community Relations & Local Engagement

    • Serve as the primary communications liaison between Hill Farm and surrounding local communities.
    • Coordinate community sensitization and awareness sessions on the Green Hydrogen Project's activities, benefits and safeguards

    Requirements

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
    • Media relations and content development;
    • Digital and social media management;
    • Event and stakeholder and donor management; and
    • Strong report-writing and interpersonal skills.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Mass Communication or a related field;
    • Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in communications, public relations or media, preferably within development, infrastructure or energy-related projects.

    Assistant Procurement Officer

    Job Description

    • The Assistant Procurement Officer will work in close liaison with the Procurement Officer to facilitate procurement processes for the Archdiocese of Nyeri Hill Farm general operational needs.
    • The position shall facilitate procurement for the Farm, ensuring strict adherence to procurement policies and procedures and the timely, transparent acquisition of goods, works and services that deliver value for money.

    Key Responsibilities

    Procurement Planning & Sourcing

    • Support preparation and periodic updating of procurement plans in liaison with the Procurement Officer
    • Support sourcing and tendering processes, including preparation of RFQs/ RFPs and bid analysis
    • Conduct market surveys and cost analyses to inform sourcing decisions and ensure value for money

    Vendor, Donor, Compliance & Order Management

    • Maintain and manage the supplier/ vendor database, including prequalification and performance evaluation
    • Prepare quote analysis for the suppliers, clearly showing the award criteria applied and Process local purchase orders and follow up on delivery of goods and services
    • Ensure procurement processes comply with ADN procurement guidelines and contractual requirements applicable to the Farm

    Documentation & Reporting

    • Maintain complete and up-to-date procurement documentation and records for all transactions
    • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures and support internal/ external procurement audits.

    General Farm Procurement Support

    • Facilitate procurement of goods, works and services for the Archdiocese of Nyeri Hill Farm's general operations
    • Support budget tracking and expenditure monitoring for non-Project (Farm) procurement

    Inventory Management

    • Ensure stock availability, minimize carrying and ordering costs, reduce wastage and losses, maintain accurate inventory records, and support efficient organizational operations
    • Asset Tagging & Register Management

    Requirements

    • Sound knowledge of procurement procedures,
    • Regulations and donor compliance requirements;
    • Negotiation and vendor management skills;
    • Strong record-keeping,
    • Analytical and report-writing skills; and
    • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/ inventory software.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or a related field;
    • Minimum of 2-3 years' relevant experience in procurement
