    Business Development Assistant - Affiliated Agents

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • The position is responsible for driving sales through affiliated agents by recruiting, training, managing, and supporting them to effectively distribute Orient Asset Managers’ investment products.

    KEY TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Recruit, onboard, and manage affiliated sales agents.
    • Train agents on investment products, sales processes, and compliance requirements.
    • Set sales targets for agents and monitor performance regularly.
    • Provide continuous coaching and motivation to agents to improve productivity.
    • Support agents during client acquisition and onboarding.
    • Ensure agents adhere to company policies, regulatory standards, and ethical selling practices.
    • Resolve agent and client issues promptly and professionally.
    • Maintain accurate records of agent performance and commissions.
    • Submit weekly sales and activity reports.
    • Assist in refining agent distribution strategies.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum 1 year experience in insurance sales, life products, or agency-based distribution.

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • The position is responsible for generating leads and driving sales through digital platforms by leveraging social media, digital content, and online engagement to promote Orient Asset Managers’ products.

    KEY TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Drive client acquisition through digital channels including social media platforms and online communities.
    • Create and manage engaging digital content aligned with brand and product messaging.
    • Generate leads through digital campaigns and follow up to convert them into clients.
    • Respond promptly to online enquiries and prospects.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute digital campaigns.
    • Track digital leads, engagement metrics, and conversion rates.
    • Stay updated on digital marketing trends relevant to financial services.
    • Maintain accurate records of digital sales performance.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly digital sales reports.
    • Support the development of digital distribution strategies.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

    Business Development Assistant - Events & Activation

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • The position is responsible for driving business growth through physical engagement channels by planning, coordinating, and executing events, activations, and on-ground campaigns that generate leads and convert prospects into clients.

    KEY TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Plan, organize, and execute events, activations, and physical marketing campaigns to promote Orient Asset Managers’ products.
    • Identify high-traffic locations, corporate forums, and partnership opportunities for client engagement.
    • Prospect, onboard, and manage clients generated through events and activations.
    • Conduct product presentations and investor education sessions during events.
    • Follow up on all leads generated from events to drive conversions.
    • Maintain accurate records of event-generated leads and sales performance.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure branding, logistics, and compliance requirements are met.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly sales and activity reports.
    • Assist in the formulation of channel-specific activation strategies and operating plans.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
    • Minimum 1 year experience in events planning, activations, roadshows, or physical marketing campaigns.

    Business Development Assistant - Independent Financial Advisor

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • The position is responsible for growing assets under management by recruiting, training, and managing Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), while providing them with the support needed to effectively distribute Orient Asset Managers’ investment products.

    KEY TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Identify, recruit, and onboard Independent Financial Advisors.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with IFAs to drive consistent business.
    • Provide ongoing training on investment products, portfolios, and market updates.
    • Support IFAs in structuring suitable investment solutions for clients.
    • Assist IFAs with client presentations, proposals, and high-value client engagements.
    • Monitor IFA performance against agreed targets and take corrective action where necessary.
    • Respond promptly to IFA sales enquiries and client escalations.
    • Conduct regular market visits and relationship management meetings.
    • Prepare weekly sales performance and pipeline reports.
    • Participate in the development of new products and distribution strategies.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
    • Minimum 1 year experience in banking, investment sales, insurance, or life products distribution.

    KEY COMPETENCIES

    • Strong relationship management skills.
    • Financial product knowledge.
    • Professional presentation and negotiation skills
