    Accountant

    We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with Kenyan tax and statutory regulations. The successful applicant should possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. Prior experience in a similar role and a solid understanding of accounting standards and practices are essential.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
    • Prepare budget forecasts and financial reports (balance sheets, profit/loss statements, etc.).
    • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
    • Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and other financial records.
    • Ensure timely processing of payments and statutory deductions (VAT, PAYE, Withholding Tax, etc.).
    • Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
    • Maintain and update accounting ledgers, journals, and other financial records.
    • Audit financial transactions and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Publish financial statements in a timely manner.
    • Maintain confidentiality of financial data and perform regular database backups.
    • Communicate effectively with management, auditors, and external stakeholders.
    • Review and recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures.
    • Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field from a recognized institution
    • Professional Qualifications: CPA (K), ACCA, or equivalent certification
    • Experience: At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar role
    • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software (e.g., ZOHO, ZERO, QuickBooks)
    • Knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and statutory requirements
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Previous experience in a construction site office or project administration role.
    • Understanding of basic procurement and inventory processes.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability.
    • Knowledge of local labor laws and site compliance requirements.

    Administrator

    • We are seeking a proactive and organized General Administrator to join our construction site office team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily administrative operations, managing document control, coordinating site logistics, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The successful applicant should possess strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen attention to detail. Prior experience in a similar role within the construction industry is highly desirable.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Oversee all administrative tasks for the construction site office, including document management and filing.
    • Coordinate site logistics such as deliveries, equipment rentals, and material inventory tracking.
    • Manage site office supplies, procurement, and vendor relationships.
    • Assist with preparation and submission of site reports, timesheets, and attendance records.
    • Support the Senior Manager and project team with construction site office affairs.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of permits, licenses, and compliance documentation.
    • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
    • Liaise with the Client, Consultants, relevant authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders as required.
    • Handle correspondence, phone calls, and emails for the site office.
    • Prepare and distribute internal and external communications and notices.
    • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any business related field.
    • Proficiency in Korean language is required.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of construction industry practices is an advantage.
