Role description
- Peach is at an inflection point of growth. We have been running operations on James Gichuru Road for a few years now, and are looking to expand to Kiambu road. We’re looking for an individual that can wear a number of hats to support our day-to-day facilities management. The successful candidate in this role will be a proactive, problem-solving manager who can match our fast paced environment and work across a number of functions and challenging work environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Manage day-to-day efforts and outcomes of the team. Specifically, ensuring that the Admin team is organized, focused and delivering on the management of all our facilities.
- Working alongside our Legal team to ensure compliance.
- Managing our inventory system to keep track of all supplies across Peach locations.
- Build and update SOPs for Admin roles and confirm they are replicable at any new location.
- Build scalable systems by interrogating the current systems we have, and building on new systems to effectively meet our needs.
- Develop and coordinate implementation of energy saving programs for both facilities
- Conduct regular inspection of facilities for repair and maintenance purposes
- Ensure cleanliness of facilities in coordination with the groundskeeper
- Initiate and manage all related construction projects as required
- Manage expansion efforts that are required from time to time, including negotiating with contractors and procurement of goods.
Requirements
- Candidates should have experience with building systems, managing teams and 3-5 years of management experience. This individual should be able to work on their feet, and also be able to sit behind a computer and do the administrative work required to manage a facility well.

Role Description
- Peach is at a positive inflection where we are expanding our operations, and embarking on our next phase of growth. Up until this point, we’ve worked closely with external legal offices to support us with compliance. While we will maintain our external legal support, we now need a representative on the ground at Peach in a full-time capacity.
- The Legal Officer & Company Secretary at Peach will serve as a liaison between our on the ground operations and external legal counsel. This individual will work across departments at Peach Cars - ensuring we are maintaining legal and regulatory compliance and supporting in answering questions as we look to grow our business.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Legal Expertise: Provide expert legal advice and opinions to various departments within the organization on a wide range of issues - including contracts, regulatory compliance, employment matters and corporate transactions.
- Contracts: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various commercial contracts and agreements and work with our external legal firm where needed.
- Policy Design: Managing and mitigating legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures. Ensuring these policies are checked with our external legal firm to ensure consistency. Additionally, assisting in the development and maintenance of corporate governance policies and practices, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.
- Compliance. Ensuring company compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to the business plus maintaining and updating the company’s statutory registers, records and filings with relevant authorities. This includes tax compliance - particularly when exploring additional business models. Additionally, staying up to date with changes in legislation that inform changes within the business.
- Secretarial Affairs: Call, chair, and maintain minutes of the annual shareholders meetings. File corporate information with relevant authorities on times to be in compliance with the Companies Act.
- Corporate Governance: Review legal documentation, contracts, etc. as pertains to impacts on Peach Tech Ltd. from actions taken by Cordia Directions and/or taken locally with Peach Cars to grow the business and advance business interests.
- Collaboration with Japanese entities: Collaborate with Japanese external lawyers to ensure proper legal due diligence as it relates to fundraising, providing needed companydocuments on various regulations or legal requirements. Plus, advise and work closely with the Japanese entity to support them with the distinct Kenyan legal and regulatory laws.
The candidate must:
- Have a Bachelor of Laws degree from a recognized University
- Have a postgraduate diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law
- Be admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a current Practicing Certificate
- Have a minimum of two years post-admission experience
- Be a certified Company Secretary

Role Description
- Peach works across a team here in Nairobi and an adjacent team located in Japan. The Japanese team is focused solely on R&D for Peach. A bulk of the work is innovating on supportive technologies to ease the inspection process, aid our mechanics in detecting vehicle issues more efficiently and acutely. We are looking for a curious individual to support the testing and implementation of these new technologies on the ground in Nairobi.
Roles and responsibilities
The R&D Intern will be responsible for:
- Tech Methodology Testing and Prototyping: Assisting in the development and implementation of technologies/ methodologies and proptypes from our Japan office to our Kenyan office.
- Research: Conduct in-depth on the ground research to support the development of our tech products in Japan.
