    Deputy Head of Sales Unit, Kenya (Chinese Speaker)

    Job Functions & Responsibilities:

    • The Deputy Head will lead the Sales Unit and be responsible for strategic planning and implementation across Chinese enterprise and carrier business markets. Key responsibilities include:

    Local Enterprise Business Planning and Implementation

    • Assist Sales Unit Head to lead team to generate market research, insights on business environment, development trends, existing resources and capability gaps for enterprise business market; integrate relevant resources, products and service capacity development needs to formulate short, medium and long-term development plans, and promote the local enterprise business development.
    • Establish an integrated customer sales system to achieve enterprise business annual sales target; cooperate with the data analysis team to assign each sales unit’s annual development goals.
    • Responsible for the business development of Chinese enterprises business, establishing relationships with Chinese-funded commercial chambers of commerce, embassies, etc., exploring business opportunities and expanding Chinese enterprise investment in the local market.

    Carrier Business Planning and Implementation

    • Assist Sales Unit Head to study the operating environment and market trend in the carrier business, formulate business plans for the carrier business market based on the insights of international enterprise customers and industry development trends.
    • Responsible for planning and establishing a global vertically integrated sales system for carrier customers, organizing and implementing sales plans for carrier clients.
    • Develop data business buy and sell cooperation strategies to maximize company interests.

    Product and Business Support

    • Assist Sales Unit Head to be responsible for overall pre-sales, product development, project management, quotation and delivery management and coordination of the sales unit.
    • Cooperate with the region to launch and deliver the pre-sales, solutions, delivery and post-sales services; promote the development of innovative enterprise business platforms, use the platform as a carrier to deliver capabilities to partners and customers.

    Overall Operational Planning and Implementation

    • Assist Sales Unit Head to formulate annual marketing budgets for enterprise markets, coordinate various market promotion activity plans, support the execution of overseas marketing events and enhance influence in enterprise business fields.
    • Build an operational support system based on business goals, design and finalize the team structure to ensure comprehensive technical support for enterprise and carrier customers.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree holder or above in Telecommunications or any related ICT disciplines is an advantage.
    • 8 years’ relevant working experience in the Telecommunications industry is required.
    • Experience in team management is preferred.
    • A strategic leader with strong market insight, relationship-building skills, and expertise in sales and operational planning within the enterprise and carrier business contexts.
    • Solid Chinese enterprise experience or solution delivery experience is preferred. Local work experience is preferred.
    • Experience in managing relationships with international customers across various regions and cultures.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm
    • Good communication skills in English. Chinese language skill is required.

    Regional Head of Solution and Delivery Support, Southern Africa Region

    Job Functions & Responsibilities:

    • The role is leading a team to primarily focus on telecom product and solution support, regional technical team management, and overall presales & delivery operational planning within the telecommunications and ICT sector. Key responsibilities include:

    Product Support

    • Responsible for the overall pre-sales, product development, project management, pricing and delivery management and collaboration in the region.
    • Responsible for product localization implementation. Lead the regional technical support team to provide solution support for all connectivity/ICT products and services, such as 5G, IP, MPLS, VPN, cloud, servers and storage, etc.
    • Responsible for telecom/ICT solution development and product standardization, such as preparing business models, business forecasts, budget formulation, development roadmaps, service improvement plans, documents, work processes, etc.

    Regional Product Life-cycle Management

    • Carry out life-cycle management of regional products, take the lead in formulating regional product plans, and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure that products are saleable and deliverable.

    Business Support

    • Directly support the commercial activities, solutions, delivery and post-sales services of projects initiated and implemented by the region, and handle special offer approval within authorization, carry out operational analysis of regional market prices, closed-won, etc.
    • Expand high-quality suppliers in the region and coordinate with suppliers to enhance product portfolio and service quality.
    • Provide all-rounded telecommunications solutions to regional teams and clients.

    Overall Operational Planning and Implementation

    • Build an operations support system based on business goals, design and determine the team structure to ensure all-rounded technical support is provided to enterprise and carrier clients.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree holder or above in Telecommunications or any related ICT disciplines.
    • 8 years’ relevant working experience in the Telecommunications industry is required.
    • Experience in team management is preferred.
    • Experience in pre-sales support, solutions design, project delivery, vendor management, product development is preferred.
    • Experience in operations management across various regions and cultures.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm.
    • Good communication skills in English.
    • Local work experience is required.
