Requirements

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology required (NOTE: must be enrolled with Pharmacy and Poison Board).
• Vast pharmaceutical products knowledge
• Possess at least 3 years plus experience in a similar setting. 

Responsibilities

Compliance

• Handle controlled drugs, control processes, and ensure update of relevant documentation and reports as per PPB requirements.
• Perform temperature mapping and environmental monitoring as per the procedures.
• Handling of cold chain products as specified by guidelines.
• Implementing Good Storage and Distribution Practices 
• Conduct monthly & quarterly pest control & fumigation.
• Assist in ensuring quality assessment are done on all returned goods as per Company’s Goods returns policy. 
• Responsible for Quarantine of, and destruction of expired & damaged goods.

Audits and Inspections 

• Promptly conduct monthly warehouse self-inspections.
• Participating in external warehouse audits
• Carrying out routine product checks, handling product non – conformities and following up on closing gaps, closing up on Non conformities.
• Perform Quality checks on received goods.
• Following & closing up Non conformities.

Key Responsibilities

Peoples Management

• Coordinate and direct BMETs, directing, evaluating, and motivating BMET performance.
• Develop work standards and provide technical counsel.
• Develop, administer, and ensure compliance with quality assurance, monitor and enforce Joint Commission accreditation standards.
• Provide operational leadership to personnel and serve as site manager

Project Admin & Management

• Establish and implement equipment testing procedures.
• Establish and monitor workflow and assignments.
• Schedule equipment testing, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to biomedical engineering practices and policies and procedures to improve the efficiency of repair services and operations.

Service Provider Collaboration

• Contact medical equipment service suppliers to resolve problems with equipment operation; arrange for repair and parts replacement.
• Recommend equipment purchases and standardization to supervisor.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Technical Knowledge & Skills
