    Finance Intern

    Job Purpose:

    Are you a recent graduate looking to kickstart your career in finance? Our client is seeking a motivated and teachable Finance Intern to join their accounting department.

    The Finance Intern will support the Finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, improving reporting processes, and ensuring smooth daily financial operations. This internship is ideal for a self-driven individual eager to learn, grow professionally, and gain hands-on experience in core accounting and finance functions.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate financial records.
    • Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, invoices, and supporting documents.
    • Process invoices by verifying financial data and ensuring timely payments.
    • Support in managing accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, reconciliation, and follow-ups.
    • Work with accounting and bookkeeping software as required.
    • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive financial information.
    • Collaborate with the accounting team to compile, analyze, and track financial information.
    • Take on additional tasks and projects to gain exposure across various finance and office functions.
    • Provide administrative support to the finance department when needed.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelors Degree (Second Class Upper) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Must have completed CPA Section 1 & 2.
    • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
    • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Must have graduated in 2024 or be graduating in 2025.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and eagerness to learn.

    Sportsbook Product Lead

    Job Purpose:

    The Sportsbook Product Lead is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operational performance of the sportsbook portfolio across Kenya and other African markets. The role ensures accurate market creation, timely and precise bet settlement, seamless execution of promotions, and adherence to regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is an expert in sportsbook operations with strong leadership, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage the Resulting Team to ensure high accuracy and rapid turnaround times in bet settlement.
    • Oversee the Sportsbook UAT Team to ensure optimal user experience across all sportsbook platforms.
    • Manage daily sportsbook operations including market creation, pricing validation, odds monitoring and settlement workflows.
    • Monitor trading activity, risk exposure and operational performance.
    • Liaise with external trading service providers to maintain data integrity and timely odds delivery.
    • Collaborate with Marketing, CRM, and Design teams to plan, develop, and execute sportsbook campaigns and promotions.
    • Coordinate the onboarding and rollout of new sports, leagues, events, and betting markets.
    • Support gamification, loyalty programs, and customer engagement initiatives.
    • Ensure all sportsbook operations adhere to regulatory and licensing requirements.
    • Maintain strong processes for responsible gaming, data audits, and accurate reporting.
    • Track and interpret regulatory developments across markets and advise on necessary adjustments.
    • Partner with Product, Tech, BI, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to identify operational gaps and implement data-driven improvements.
    • Provide insights on sportsbook trends, user behaviours and competitive landscape.
    • Support enhancements to the sportsbook customer journey and platform experience.
    • Track and analyze key sportsbook KPIs including turnover, GGR, margins, bet volumes, and customer behaviours.
    • Identify inefficiencies in processes and recommend continuous improvements.
    • Prepare structured operational and performance reports for leadership.

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in sportsbook operations, trading, or product management.
    • Strong leadership skills with ability to manage large-scale operations.
    • Strong understanding of sportsbook mechanics, betting markets, odds creation, and settlement processes.
    • Knowledge of betting behaviour across Kenya and African markets.
    • Proficiency in Excel, BI tools, and data analytics.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory standards and responsible gaming practices.
    • Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.
    • Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communicator with strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
    • Passion for sports, betting, and creating exceptional user experiences.
