    Finance Coordinator-Officer, Finance Admin. Office

    Job Purpose

    This job exists to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant financial processes by analysing, redesigning, implementing, and reconciling systems and workflows that support the hospital’s operational and strategic goals

    Key responsibilities

    Process Analysis & Assessment

    • Review current billing and other financial processes, workflows, and systems
    • Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and bottlenecks
    • Assess integration and usage of EHR & ERP in Finance department

    Strategic Process Design

    • Develop re-engineered finance workflows and establish standard operating procedures (SOP) aligned with healthcare financial standards
    • Coordinate rollout of redesigned processes with ICT and Finance
    • Train finance staff on new workflows and systems

    Quality Control & Compliance

    • Develop quality control metrics for re-engineered hospital policies
    • Collaborate with audit teams to strengthen internal controls

    Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Engagement

    • Monitor and refine processes regularly
    • Regularly engage Finance, ICT, clinical, and admin stakeholders for feedback

    Cash and cash related back-Office Reconciliation and Accuracy

    • Monitor periodically high-level back-office cash and cash related reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness

     Qualifications, Experience and Skills required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics
    • CPA or ACCA are an added advantage
    • Certification or skills in Systems/Business process is a plus.
    • Strong skills in Excel and Business Intelligence (BI) tools
    • At least two or more years of experience with ERP and/or EHR systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle) as well as Aptitude in reporting and presentation
    • A team player and a person of high integrity
    • Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail (important for reconciliations).
    • Ability to train and support others during change.
    • Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills

    Transport Officer, Transport, Travel and Housing

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinating transport for institution’s staff and guests by handling all requests and bookings
    • Supervising outsourced drivers and ensuring they are up to the tasks given.
    • Ensuring that each transport request is booked for facilitation
    • Allocation of drivers to various assignments
    • Sourcing for extra cars when needed
    • Responsible for generating and submitting reports to departments for them to generate their transport usage
    • Generating and submitting transport reports to finance for payment processing
    • Ensuring institution vehicles are repaired as required
    • Responding to any/all queries directed to the transport office
    • Providing solutions to complaints and ensuring good customer service when resolving them

     Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Diploma in Logistics and/or Transport/Fleet Management from a reputable institution 
    • Proficiency in transport management system and Microsoft office
    • Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in Fleet Management
    • Valid driving license plus Motor vehicle mechanical knowledge
    • Competent in Record Keeping, coordination and reporting
    • Knowledge of relevant transport & traffic regulations
    • Honesty and integrity
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Optometrist, Gigiri Executive Clinic

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations on patients.
    • Keep updated and accurate medical records for all patients.
    • Prescribe spectacles, visual aids, contact lenses and offer low vision therapy when required.
    • To ensure proper management and calibration of eye care equipment.
    • Detect signs and symptoms of general health conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
    • Manage and monitor some eye conditions, either autonomously or alongside an ophthalmologist.
    • Effectively communicate with patients explaining their diagnosis and the different treatment options.
    • Promote eye health by counselling patients on proper eyewear care, contact lens hygiene and offering overall visual wellness education.
    • Collaborate with the clinic team to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care delivery for every patient.
    • Operate specialized equipment and be conversant with diagnostic procedures in eye care such as Optical Coherence Topography, Visual Field, Topography, Fundus Camera and Biometry.
    • Attend CMEs organized by the hospital to stay updated on any changes emerging in the eye care field.
    • Assist in development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
    • Participate and contribute to quality improvement initiative.

    Requirements:

    • Diploma in Optometry from a reputable institution. A degree in Optometry is an additional advantage.
    • Registration from Optometrist Association of Kenya.
    • 2 years’ work experience with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite
    • Able to communicate with medical professionals.
    • Able to work with a team of people from various backgrounds and training.
    • Excellent customer service skills and empathetic to patients of all ages
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Culturally sensitive
    • Able to keep up with continuous Medical Education programs.
    • Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
