    Clinical Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Attend to patients and prescribe necessary medicines as available in stock and the required investigations.
    • Whenever necessary, with the approval of Head of Medical Services, carry out investigations and prescribe non-stock drugs.
    • Issue Medical Certificate for sickness or fitness to join duty as per prescribed procedure.
    • Assist Head of Medical Services whenever called upon to do so for any patient or hospital related work.
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
    • Communicate effectively with patients and clients.
    • Ensure that duties and functions are undertaken in a manner that prioritizes the safety and well-being of patients.
    • Seek advice and assistance from the consultants with any assigned cases or issues that prove to be beyond the scope and professional competence in line with principles of best practice and clinical governance.
    • Any other clinical duty delegated by the management.

    Qualifications 

    • Diploma in Medicine and surgery
    • Registered by clinical officers’ council.
    • Ability to with minimum supervision.
    • Ability to plan and deliver care in an effective and resourceful manner.
    • Valid licence

    Nurse

    Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Assess the health needs of individuals, families, and communities.
    • Develop and implement community health education programs and initiatives.
    • Provide health education on topics such as nutrition, immunizations, and disease prevention.
    • Organize and participate in community health fairs, workshops, and outreach activities.
    • Conduct health assessments and screenings, including blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol levels.
    • Administer immunizations and medications as prescribed.
    • Provide wound care, first aid, and other nursing interventions.
    • Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma through patient education and follow-up care.
    • Develop individualized care plans for patients with complex health needs.
    • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, social services, and community resources.
    • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
    • Educate patients and families on managing health conditions at home.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
    • Document patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes.
    • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with health information regulations.
    • Participate in hospital emergency preparedness planning and response activities.
    • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
    • Any other duty as maybe assigned by the supervisor from time to time 

    Qualifications

    • Diploma/Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or from an accredited institution.
    • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in community health, public health, or a related field.
    • Experience in health education and promotion activities.
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with NCK.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification will be an added advantage.

    Marketing & Liaison Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns to promote hospital services and specialties.
    • Create and distribute marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and digital content.
    • Manage the hospital’s online presence, including its website and social media platforms.
    • Organize and participate in promotional events, health fairs, and community outreach activities.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for referring physicians, ensuring smooth communication and referral processes.
    • Address and resolve issues or concerns raised by external stakeholders.
    • Enhance patient satisfaction by ensuring effective communication and addressing patient concerns.
    • Develop patient education materials and programs to inform patients about hospital services and health topics.
    • Conduct patient satisfaction surveys and use feedback to improve services.
    • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and patient demographics to inform marketing strategies.
    • Collaborate with hospital leadership to develop and implement strategic plans.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and outreach activities.
    • Prepare reports on marketing and public relations activities, including performance metrics and ROI analysis.
    • Provide regular updates to hospital leadership on marketing and liaison activities.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
    • Advanced degree or certifications in healthcare marketing or public relations are a plus.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, public relations, or a related role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
    • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in digital marketing and social media management.
    • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
