    Head of Data Governance & Management

    Job Purpose Statement

    The Head of Data Governance & Management provides strategic leadership in defining and executing LOOP DFS’s Data Governance and Management framework. The role is responsible for setting the vision, policies, and standards for enterprise data to ensure accuracy, consistency, security, and compliance across the business and its subsidiaries.

    This role will drive the implementation of LOOP DFS’s Data Governance strategy and support the Executive Director in embedding data-driven decision-making across business units. It will also ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and protection requirements across multiple markets, positioning data as a strategic business asset that drives innovation and growth.

    Key Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities)

    Financial (30%)

    • Develop and execute the Data Governance vision, strategy, and implementation roadmap.
    • Align Data Governance objectives with business goals and priorities.
    • Oversee budget planning and allocation for data management initiatives.
    • Champion data as a strategic asset and ensure ROI on data investments.

    Customer (20%)

    • Build consensus and alignment around data strategy across the leadership community.
    • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support business and regulatory needs.
    • Promote a strong data culture focused on transparency, quality, and accountability.

    Internal Business Processes (40%)

    • Design and implement a robust Data Management Framework (DMF) covering data architecture, quality, privacy, and metadata management.
    • Lead the development and enforcement of data-related policies, standards, and governance processes.
    • Drive compliance with regulatory and security requirements across operating markets.
    • Oversee the Data Governance organization, resolving escalated issues and ensuring performance tracking.

    Learning and Growth (10%)

    • Lead and develop a community of Data Stewards and Privacy Champions.
    • Establish a Data Management Centre of Excellence to promote learning and best practice.
    • Build organizational capability in data governance and analytics through targeted development and coaching.

    Job Specifications

    Academic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Management, or related field.
    • Master’s degree or Diploma in Data Management/Data Science will be an added advantage.

    Professional Qualifications:

    • Certification in Project Management or SQL preferred.
    • Knowledge of Informatics Tools Suite (Tableau, SAS, Oracle, SAP, etc.) desirable.
    • Certification such as CISA, CISM, or C-RISK will be an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in data governance, information architecture, or data quality management.
    • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role influencing data governance direction.
    • Demonstrated experience developing and operationalizing enterprise-wide data policies and frameworks.

    Commercial Performance & Monetization Analyst

    Job Purpose Statement

    The Commercial Intelligence & Monetization Analyst will support the Chief Commercial Officer in developing and executing LOOP’s commercial strategy. The role is responsible for designing data-driven pricing, monetization, and revenue optimization frameworks to enhance profitability and strengthen market positioning for LOOP.

    This position combines strategic financial analysis, pricing intelligence, and data insights to ensure commercial efficiency, sound financial performance, and competitive advantage. The Analyst will work cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, Finance, and Operations teams to drive monetization opportunities, safeguard revenue, and generate actionable insights for informed decision-making.

    Key Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities)

    Financial 10% 

    • Value creation through process and product reviews with owners to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of products or process and recommendation on way forward. 
    • Ensures that all process improvement initiatives are being tracked and reported on a regular basis. 
    • Maintaining cost efficiency in delivering projects. 

    Internal business processes 70% 

    • Manage and execute the Business Analysis effort during the entire project lifecycle. This entails understanding the business needs and project objectives then defining Business requirement documents (BRDs) and Use Cases using relevant tools and techniques. 
    • Lead and guide business units in the project Start-up and Initiation phase; strictly managing drawdowns, governance and documentation. 
    • Lead business process reviews and support continuous improvement of bank systems, processes and people across all channels to ensure that the bank has the appropriate platform and capabilities for delivery of strategy. 
    • Lead the testing and user acceptance process to ensure solutions are successfully implemented and meet client/business requirements. Manage specific application quality assurance and help desk activities including the tracking of bug reports, change requests and ensuring their timely resolution. 
    • Management of operational risks in the design and implementation of new and/or changes to business processes and systems 

    Customer 10% 

    • Build and maintain positive working relationships with business and technical teams; serve as resource for technical or business expertise and advice on strategic priorities and projects. 
    • Support the integration of best practice into the bank’s process re-engineering methodologies and tools using best practice frameworks; Mission Directed Work teams & Six Sigma, to support innovation  
    • Communicating change, insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management. 

    Learning and growth 10% 

    • Personal Competence Development 
    • Completion of at least 1 technical skills/certification per annum 
    • Staying up-to-date with the advances in technology to automate and modernise systems and processes. 
    • Conduct research into project-related issues and products in order to foster continuous improvement.

    Job Specifications

    Academic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (SQL, R, Python) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).

    Professional Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in financial modelling, data analytics, and business intelligence.
    • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and advanced statistical analysis will be an added advantage.
    • Strong project management and presentation skills.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 6 years in banking, financial services, or digital business, with at least 3 years in credit management, portfolio analysis, or commercial analytics.
    • Experience in pricing, revenue assurance, and monetization strategy preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
