    COSEC & Legal Officer

    DESCRIPTION

    To provide Legal advice and render corporate services

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Maintaining corporate records: Ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of company documents, including minutes of meetings, resolutions, and shareholder records.
    2. Board support: Assisting with the preparation of board meeting agendas, attending board meetings, taking minutes, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements.
    3.  Compliance management: Monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies, and advising the board and management on compliance matters.
    4. Legal document preparation: Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and corporate policies to ensure they are legally sound and in the best interest of the company.
    5. Annual reports and filings: Preparing and filing annual reports, maintaining statutory registers, and ensuring timely submission of required documents to regulatory authorities.
    6. Shareholder relations: Managing communication and relationships with shareholders, including coordinating annual general meetings and handling shareholder inquiries or requests.
    7. Corporate governance: Providing guidance and support to the board on corporate governance practices, maintaining corporate governance policies, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
    8. Risk management: Assisting in the identification and management of legal and regulatory risks, including monitoring changes in legislation that may impact the company's operations.
    9. Liaison with external parties: Interacting with external advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, and regulatory bodies, and coordinating legal and compliance matters with external stakeholders.
    10.  Legal research and analysis: Conducting research on various legal issues, statutes, and regulations, and providing analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
    11. Contract management: Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure they protect the company's interests and comply with legal requirements. 
    12. Compliance oversight: Monitoring and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies, and implementing compliance programs to mitigate legal risks.
    13. Litigation management: Collaborating with external counsel to handle litigation matters, including managing legal disputes, coordinating documentation, and representing the company's interests.
    14.  Intellectual property protection: Managing and protecting the company's intellectual property assets, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents. Legal advice and counseling: Providing legal guidance and support to internal departments and management on a wide range of legal issues, such as labor law, data protection, and commercial law.
    15. Regulatory compliance: Staying updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting the company's operations and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
    16.  Due diligence: Conducting legal due diligence for potential business transactions, mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships to identify and mitigate legal risks.
    17. Training and education: Developing and delivering legal training programs to educate employees on legal compliance, ethics, and company policies.
    18.  Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor in line with the job description.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor of Law LLB degree
    •  Diploma from the Kenya School of Law
    • Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a current Practicing Certificate
    • Certified Secretary

    Staff Nurse

    DESCRIPTION

    To provide and maintain caring and high professional standards of nursing care utilizing the set standards, procedures and policies, to meet patients’ needs and have job satisfaction.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    1.  To utilize the standards and procedures of nursing care to continuously improve the quality of nursing care and exceed patients expectations 
    2. To be a role model of the nursing profession and exercise professionalism at all times while treating patients with dignity, privacy and respect.
    3. To learn to communicate effectively with other professionals/patients and their significant others including staff of other departments inorder to advocate for patients effectively. 
    4. To utilize infection control measures in place, to provide a safe and suitable environment for patients/staff and others.
    5. To uphold statutory regulations as required by the nursing profession and the Laws of Kenya.
    6. To safeguard all confidential information concerning patients and their treatment.
    7. To report all complaints and incidents to the shift-in-charge as they occur in your line of duty.
    8. To learn to be knowledgeable of the equipment in use in the ward/department and safeguard hospital/patient property and equipment from damage, wastage or loss.
    9. To maintain and regularly update professional knowledge and competence through education, self motivated learning and participate in research in the ward. 
    10. To learn to provide accurate documentation, proper record keeping and storage for continuity, quality and legal reference.
    11. To utilize available resource effectively for quality service delivery, profitability and cost containment.
    12. To learn and practice good interpersonal relationship amongst the nursing team, patients and other disciplines.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • KCSE C and above.

    Marketing and Communication Specialist

    DESCRIPTION

    Ensure timely quality and effective communication of hospital initiatives to internal and external customers and different stakeholders for promotional, information and advisory reasons. This entails packaging of the information to suit the needs and the sensitivities of the healthcare environment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Collaborates with marketing representatives to fully understand product and communication needs.
    2. Identify existing communication gaps and share a plan with the Senior Managers on way forward.
    3. Liaise with the different department heads in the different clinical areas and have a listing of the key items that need to be communicated to the public.
    4. Maintain a schedule of the annual key communication milestones in healthcare and liaise with the department heads to ensure that the information goes out.
    5. Develop a communication plan and share it with the Senior Managers for approval.
    6. Gathers the materials necessary to understand the project and competition in the area such as literature or previous marketing campaigns; analyzes these materials to determine the most effective communications technique. 
    7. Based on assessment, draft and propose communications campaigns, which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia. 
    8. Presents design ideas and recommendations to Head of marketing and Communications, committee, or marketing team. 
    9. Design, build and maintain our social media presence.
    10. Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs). 
    11. Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.  
    12. Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies 
    13. Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience 
    14. Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
    15. Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.
    16. Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
    17. Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor in line with the job description.
